3 Oils I love for Spring

Spring is in the air . . . !! Today I want to talk about essential oils that help shift us out of winter mindset and support our feelings of excitement and curiosity for the new season.

For some of us, Spring is only a stepping stone to Summer. We want it to breeze on by and be done quick so we can enjoy the sun and heat.

I'm of the belief that Spring is the pause in between weather extremes when we get to witness the magic of earth waking up and coming to life. Maybe you (like myself), took advantage of Winter's darkness and gave your body permission to rest. And maybe you let your self care rituals and movement practices slide because you were honoring your body's seasonal needs. { I love this for us !! }

How can we use essential oils to shift some of that leftover energy and usher us ahead feeling renewed and curious? I have some amazing oils that can help!

Jasmine Absolute ~ Applying Jasmine oil to the skin invokes feelings of warmth and vitality. It is commonly known as the "oil of support" which is why you may feel less alone when use it. Multiple varieties of the flower bloom at different times throughout Spring and Summer around the country. It might be fun to seek out a Jasmine bush to stand in her presence and deeply inhale all the goodness she has to give. If you don't find Jasmine growing near you, I suggest purchasing a bottle of the sweet smelling goodness (like this one).

You can find Jasmine in my Sensual Plant Infusion Oil Blend (a wonderful choice for Spring) and in my Heart Chakra Elixir Grief Oil.

Neroli Oil ~ With the added benefit of being an amazing oil for the skin, Neroli is seductive, sexy, and playful, while also doing what citrus oils do best: brightening your mood. It does blend beautifully with other oils but also smells amazing when worn on its own. In magical circles they say that Neroli forms a protective barrier around our aura, so wearing this oil is almost like a shield when we're venturing out into the world but feeling a bit fragile. If there is an aromatherapy massage in your future, request Neroli oil to feel a deep sense of grounding and calm.

You can find Neroli in my Glisten Body Oil, Repair Intention Roll On, and Heart Chakra Elixir Grief Oil.

And finally . . .

Bergamot Oil ~ A citrus oil with a soothing aroma, Bergamot is considered the oil of 'self'. It helps us in processing fear and leaving behind feelings of inadequacy, so that we can focus on learning to love and accept ourselves. I love diffusing Bergamot on days when I'm not being nice to myself and need to change the vibe.

You can find Bergamot in my Full Moon Lunar Body Oil and Copious Grace Perfume Oil, both beautiful choices for Spring.

I'd love to know what some of your favorite oils are that help shift your mood or what oils you're excited to wear / diffuse for Spring!
