Diffusing oils for Stress & Anxiety

Diffusing oils can elevate and shift your mood naturally. If you are feeling stressed out or are experiencing mild anxiety, diffusing oils can soothe and relax your racing mind rather quickly. What has helped me is to have an oil diffuser station at the ready for quick access when I am most in need of relaxation. The photo above is what my setup looks like. Let me tell you about the oils I love to diffuse that support and relieve my stress and anxiety.
Begin with good quality oils. The brand I am most fond of for diffusing at home is Rocky Mountain Oils. I just love their singles and their blends. Set up your station where you can access it easily and in the room where you will be hanging out. A great tip I learned from a friend: have your diffuser set up with oils so that when you come in the house after work, all you have to do is press the start button. So good!
My Oil Recommendations:
Geranium - A well known nerve soother, Geranium is - in my opinion - an underrated oil choice for relieving anxiety. Give it a go and feel the relaxing benefits this lush oil has to offer. (Up to 5 drops in your diffuser).
Roman Chamomile - For the times when your anxiety level is high, Roman Chamomile oil is a super calmer. Add a couple of drops to your diffuser, brew yourself a cup of tea, and take a few moments to decompress.
Frankincense - There aren't enough words to express my love for this oil (dramatic!) Frankincense is a grounding oil that will help you feel rooted in the present moment. Its aroma transports you to the here and now, allowing the stress of the day to melt away. It is my personal fave "after work" oil to diffuse.
Orange - An oil that helps clear your mind of stress, Orange oil will instantly elevate your mood to a much brighter place. This citrus oil supports us in feeling refreshed and joyful. I love to mix this one with Frankincense for double duty relief. (3-5 drops of Orange with 3-5 drops of Frankincense).
Which oil would be great to start with? I would go with the Orange / Frankincense blend. If you give any of these a try, let me know how they work for you. What oils or blends do you usually diffuse for stress and anxiety relief? I'd love to know!
