Intention blends 2022 Holiday Gift Guide

Well, here we are! The holiday season is upon us and I have so much to share with you. First and foremost, I would like to say a special thank you to anyone who made a purchase in my shop or with me in person at a market this last year. Your support of my budding, small business is what allows me to contribute to my family's finances & continue to do the work I love. In June I was able to let go of my part time job and put all of my focus on my oil business, which has been a game changer in so many ways! I have huge growth goals for 2023 and now I feel like I have the capacity to accomplish them. (I have a few more year in review biz updates at the bottom of this post!)

More biz news:

One thing I am so proud of is that in this ever changing, not so great economy, I did not raise my prices. As a maker of oils, I understand that my products are a luxury, not a necessity. My supplies and ingredients did not increase by much, which enabled me to keep all of my oils at the same price point (unless the bottle and volume changed, which some did - and even then it was only a $1 increase!)

2022 also saw a complete overhaul in the presentation of my oils. I transitioned from clear to amber bottles, creating a more apothecary style aesthetic to my brand. I hired a designer to create a new logo that was vintage / folk inspired (and I love it) ~ and I hired a photographer whose work I've admired for years to capture my oils in a brand new way.

So that is where my business stands here at the end of 2022. One huge personal practice for me is to remain in presence during what is typically a "hustle" time season. I have chosen an oil to wear each day to remind me to slow down and enjoy the moment. I've got a grounding journaling practice that I intend to visit often to help me document my days and not get lost in what feels like a hurried couple of weeks.

Hoping this will be a slow but fruitful season for all of us.
